This is Arm Havoc!

Arm Havoc is the title of our armwrestling-supermatch-series in Hamburg, Germany.

We started out as a small armwrestling-event, just including 6 matches, with some athletes from local Hamburg armwrestling club “Angry Sloths” in 2022. Over the next events we kept growing and improving and now we are already at event number 12. Our match cards often include several WAF and EvW world champions and we are tremendously grateful and proud of the overwhelming support of the armwrestling community.

When we started there weren’t many armwrestling-supermatch-series happening in Germany, aside of Kevin Wolfs “Pin ‘em all”. We liked the basic idea of the old WAL in the US, with a bigger focus on entertainment and drama, because in our opinion, this is what drives new athletes into the sport and makes them fall in love with armwrestling, just like we all did!

Our Mission

We always had 3 things in mind, when starting Arm Havoc.

First, we wanted to grow the amwrestling-community in Germany and bring new faces to the sport.

Second, we wanted to provide a platform where amateurs, national champs, world champs and pro’s could share a stage in one event! In our mind this always drives motivation in younger and more amateur athletes to train hard and become stronger. What would you do if you had a match on the same card as Janis Amolins or Bozhidar Simeonov?

Our third goal is locked to the location: Thomas Read.

There are many great and fabulous armwrestling-promotions out there, doing a monumental job! We wanted to try something a bit different though. Our aim was to be rougher, a bit darker and muddier than the rest. We wanted to add a little bit of a “fight-club” feeling with some fog, special lightings and the arena-like stage, where the audience is standing all around the athletes and cheering for their champion to win!
